Biography

James Mehigan practices in state and federal courts on matters of product liability, medical malpractice, professional malpractice, drug & medical device, general liability and toxic tort litigation. In addition, he has extensive experience representing clients in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.

Mr. Mehigan, an aggressive advocate by nature, is able to get to the heart of a legal dispute at an early stage. He is skilled at developing and implementing creative and cost-effective strategies to achieve resolution for his clients. Through early disposition, alternative dispute resolution and trial, Mr. Mehigan has a strong track record for defending both individuals and organizations in state and federal courts of the District of Columbia and Maryland.
